Dr. Kerrigan is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, where she obtained her Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris. She completed a small animal medical and surgical internship at the University of Pennsylvania before moving to the west coast to complete a residency in small animal surgery at the University of California at Davis. She is trained in orthopedic, neurologic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive procedures. She has a special interest in surgical oncology and wound repair and has conducted research in the field of bone biomechanics. She is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgery.
During her free time, Dr. Kerrigan loves traveling, exploring the west coast, and hiking with her husband, Wes. Together they have a few cats and a dog.
